My very boring existence

Yes, I had spring break and I have no great photos to show for it. In fact, I don't have any photos of anything semi-recent that show something very fun going on. Great big,
boooo! I know... woes me! But, all I do is study. My study highlights pertain to laughing about whatever I am studying, in order to determine how best to remember it. Sometimes the guys I tutor math for are wonderful and they tell my boss that I'm the answer to their mathematical prayers. And then other days a student will pester me, asking me why I write .3 instead of 0.3... over and over, while looking over my math telling me I made a mistake (when no such mistake exists). Other than that, my entertainment has come from listening to
GeekRules.com and sending a million text messages a day to friends. That can be fun and is usually worth a few good laughs!
On St Paddys, my friend Taner and I (after studying Bio until 10pm) went to Olde City to meet up with other (drunker) friends from our Bio class (who were not studying). It was fun to meet up for a nightcap, dance a bit and wake-up early on Saturday to go to class, dissect a shark, go to the gym and study some more. Later that night, I went out to a nice dinner to a BYOB called La Boheme with a really nice guy who works at Penn, where I go to school. La Boheme's a French restaurant where you Bring Your Own Wine/Beverage. The food was beautiful, nicely prepared and tasty. The company was handsome and great company. He's a very smart guy with lots of cool, neat experiences and refreshing views about life. It was quite nice! Other than that, something must be done about this level of non-activity! The semester is nearly finished and I must make a trip to California very soon.
I must!
A little bit very embarrasing!
This morning, Jenn had someone up to fix two windows in my room. There were still lights and a tripod set-up set up around my bed from the photoshoot.
*blush* I can only imagine what went through his head. Casually, I started taking everything down and moving it aside.
Oh dear!
Weekend Art! Flu! and Spring Break.
The past three days have been a fury of tripping over power cords, raising tripods, diffusing lights, smoothing backgrounds, brainstorming creative solutions, choosing angles, adjusting light ratios, tearing down, hauling everything up to the third floor, setting up again, making pancakes, carefully slicing butter, frothing milk for fake lattes, simulating wine in glassware, lighting metal, lighting glassware, lighting purely white objects... perhaps a good quarter of the material we mastered during my second year of college at RIT. Oh... and all of this was done in the midst of a horrendous head cold, sore throat and achy feverish chills.
Good times! Seriously, most of it has been a lot of fun. Other parts are insanely annoying. I sure couldn't do this for a living. It's fun for a while but loses appeal when creativity is forced under pressure. But I enjoy breaking out all the old stuff and remember how to use it. It's sort of like riding a bike. How did people get it all done before the age of digital imaging? I can't believe I used to shoot purely on film. It is unbelievable the amount of stuff I can get shot in a single day, when I'm not
worried about blowing through 10 or more rolls.
Today, my flu is gone and I actually made it out of the house this evening, for a spell. I am so glad to be feeling better. Hopefully, no one from class or the friends I went out with Saturday night caught what I had. If so, I'll feel really horrible! It was bad. Well, tomorrow, it's back to shooting, tutoring and probably studying at the library. At least the weather is getting warmer. Spring is almost here and I'm itching to be outdoors!
