G-Dub Med School, HERE I COME!
That's right! I got my acceptance yesterday at 2:30pm. I was walking down Locust Walk, talking on the phone with my friend, when I got a call-waiting buzz from a 202 area code. Honestly, I didn't think anything of it, until I hung up the call. Then I realized that 202 is a DC number and G-Dub Medical School was the only entity in DC that I could think of. Dean McQ had left me a message, so I called her back, though I was running late to a 2:30pm meeting. This just couldn't wait! I was stooping in a hallway, facing Ben and Jerry's on 40th Street when she picked up the call. "How are you doing, today?" I told her, "I'm great!" And she said, "Well, I'm hoping to make your day even better. I have a seat to offer you!"What timing, too... Tonight, I was supposed to start my Immunobiology class. But instead I'm doing online G-Dub research, checking out last year's "Residency Match List" and thinking about where I want to live. I'm excited! My friends took me out to celebrate last night, to Alma de Cuba. This week, I am teaching and getting in touch with everyone I know, to tell them the news. So much to think about. So much relaxing and fun to be had!

whoooot! when do we get to celebrate?
Heh, thats really funny, I have a seat for you too, its my lap. Bit lumpy, and you wont really learn anything, but i think your seat will fit great on my seat.
Seriously though, I am so happy that you got in. I remember the first time that i talked to you, sitting in the CCSF cateteria, asking what you were in here for. You said that you wanted to go to med school. That was in 2002 I think. It says so much about your character that you stuck it out and kicked ass all the way through. "Paging Dr. Miller" (sounds great, yeah?)
Congrats!
