My very boring existence
Yes, I had spring break and I have no great photos to show for it. In fact, I don't have any photos of anything semi-recent that show something very fun going on. Great big, boooo! I know... woes me! But, all I do is study. My study highlights pertain to laughing about whatever I am studying, in order to determine how best to remember it. Sometimes the guys I tutor math for are wonderful and they tell my boss that I'm the answer to their mathematical prayers. And then other days a student will pester me, asking me why I write .3 instead of 0.3... over and over, while looking over my math telling me I made a mistake (when no such mistake exists). Other than that, my entertainment has come from listening to GeekRules.com and sending a million text messages a day to friends. That can be fun and is usually worth a few good laughs!
On St Paddys, my friend Taner and I (after studying Bio until 10pm) went to Olde City to meet up with other (drunker) friends from our Bio class (who were not studying). It was fun to meet up for a nightcap, dance a bit and wake-up early on Saturday to go to class, dissect a shark, go to the gym and study some more. Later that night, I went out to a nice dinner to a BYOB called La Boheme with a really nice guy who works at Penn, where I go to school. La Boheme's a French restaurant where you Bring Your Own Wine/Beverage. The food was beautiful, nicely prepared and tasty. The company was handsome and great company. He's a very smart guy with lots of cool, neat experiences and refreshing views about life. It was quite nice! Other than that, something must be done about this level of non-activity! The semester is nearly finished and I must make a trip to California very soon.
I must!

That doesn't sound boring at all! Your days are filled with experiences that I just don't have. Except for listening to GeekRules. I do that too.
Eddie... Last night when I went out, I talked to a guy named Eugene, who is in my Bio class and he asked me if I know what SRL is. :) Anyway, needless to say, I thought of you and thought to myself, maybe Philly has some pockets still worth scoping out. Maybe it's not a doomed existance afterall!
But thanks, I appreciate your perspective. I miss you, Dana, Justine, Hiroko, and everyone else so much. But my network of friends (and Influence!) is growing. And that truly is a good thing.
*hugs*
wut u talking bout!??!? studying is AWESOME! all studying with no playing is what i called a perfect life! hahaha. Blah. :) -jenn-
hey jenn... i spoke to jeanine and dr. harrison today. they all asked about you. i told them how much fun you are having studying away!!!!! one day soon, i will force you out and we will go play in center city. :)
you are the networked akay. you naturally radiate "connection energy". damn, did i just type that? i think i've been in SF too long. miss you too! xoxo
I don't know about that "connection energy" thing. I've spent so much time studying "connective tissue" last week and I'm not sure I know what "connection energy" could be. One would think I could figure it out of association. Let's see... Well, connective tissue is basically comprised of cells that rarely touch, because they are floating in so much of their own matrix. Take blood for instance... did you know that blood is a connective tissue? That must make connection energy the matrix that surrounds each of those non-touching cells. Therefore, I guess that makes me connective tissue if I radiate connective energy. Now, I just have to figure out which type... hmmm... maybe the dense irregular connective tissue, like the sclera or white part of the eye??
