Leah's bachelorette party

Purple with Yellow, paper streamers were flittering from the breeze. Helium filled balloons danced on the walls. The afternoon sun streamed through the kitchen window- wide open with no screen needed. A giant spray of yellow orchids on the breakfast table accessorized the mood in the air that was festive and very feminine. Kristie cut fruit for bianca's sangria. Girls walked in the house with champagne, fruit, chocolate, frilly bags for Leah and beautiful, smiling faces. Our hostess's Home was the perfect nest for our night together, sans boys. There was a giant basket of bath products and treats, I had brought for everyone to chose from. Thai take-out was brought over. We made cocktails with Kristie's infused vodkas. Alicia's handmade, knit, pink panties wowed all of us. The pattern was intricate and deserved a close look. Glimpsing out the window at nearly 3am I spotted three boys, all of whom belonged to girls inside, standing on the sidewalk across the street. Could a slumber party ever be complete without guys trying to get inside? No way! Jen, Kristie and Le scrunched, shoulder to shoulder, leaning out the window to wave and giggle below. Susan brought nail polish for fingers and toes. Alicia set-up chocolate fondue in the kitchen and white Russian cocktail hour. Laying across Kristie's bed as we played spin the bottle, I was sleepy and nodded in and out, as I listened to the stories that were told by the girl where the bottle landed. In the morning, Susan woke me for mango mimosa's, bacon and fluffy coconut scrambled eggs. Girls with darling pigtails and sleep-pressed hair-dos were waking, still smiling from the night before. Boyfriends had arrived to pick-up their sweethearts and looked about the house to creatively reconcoct what must have happened the night before. It was a truly, lovely and very memorable evening! Congratulations, Leah!
